Paper Computer Games are a series of pen-and-pencil roleplaying games with simplified rules and more linear, puzzle-solving and story-based gameplay. The games are completely illustrated, and the pictures serve as the "playing board"- where all the action takes place.
This basic formula and set of rules has been varied by the various makers of Paper Computer Games, however all variations rotate around the same set of core characteristics. The storylines of the games cover a wide variety of topics and genres; many times their stories seem to be completely unrelated. However, they are considered to take place in one unified universe; Characters and events from other Paper Computer Games are frequently referenced in the series.
