Anniversary Issue, also known as PCG Anniversary Special, was #76 (possibly #74?) of Series 1. It was likely released in the 90s to early 2000s. The game was larger than normal and featured the return of many elements from earlier in the series.

The cover had lights drawn around the edges, To point out the issue’s importance. According to Chris, (though he's not certain), the game may have had 70 screens. Despite the title of the game, it was very unlikely that it was created to celebrate an actual PCG anniversary.

Story[]

According to Chris, the story for this game involved Xaq trying to stop an assassination attempt against John F Kennedy, the current President of the United States. (But the game included no details of the actual assassination, nor of conspiracy theories about it).

Some fragments of memories from Chris and Xaq tell us that there was a sequence that involved sharks, and possibly a kiddie pool. This game is regarded as the culmination of every PCG that had been made up until this point. The game featured many if not all of the characters that existed at the time, including people like The Farmer, Zoovac, and more.

Sequel[]

Decades later, Chris released a followup game, PCG Anniversary Special Part II. This game brings back many of the classic PCG characters like Xaq, The Rich Kid, and more. Chris has stated that the game will contain 76 pages exactly.
