Crystal Guy is a tentative name given to a funny little guy who often appears on Maze Screens. His appearance has always been mysterious, especially so since in all of his appearances, it is seemingly impossible to get to him, and no one has ever succeeded in doing so.
He always appears in a completely walled-off portion of the maze (How did he get there?) holding an oddly-shaped, energy-spouting Crystal, reminiscent of Ginkus' power staff. Crystal Guy, in fact, is very reminiscent of Ginkus himself. They are definitely not the same person, though, as Ginkus was the first character to encounter Crystal Guy in one of his adventures.
The effects of his crystal are unknown.
History[]
He was first seen 1000 years ago on Shri, where he was in a walled off region of a maze screen near a landed spacecraft. (Ginkus' Odyssey: "The Last of the Zorelta")
He had a house in Company Town, whose phone was unlisted and whose records were blank. ("Zoovac: The Life and Times of a Clown on a Stick")
Crystal Guy appeared aboard an alien spacecraft, which Balzak Globotron was trapped in. Crystal Guy was walled off and inaccessable, like all of his appearances. Once Balzak escaped from the ship, and the ship's exterior was seen, Balzak noticed an energy vortex on the ship's outer hull coming from roughly the same part of the ship where Crystal Guy was located, inside. This vortex-- presumably caused by Crystal Guy's crystal-- became the ship's weak spot, allowing Balzak to disable the ship and escape. (Balzak Globotron Series game: "Balzak Globotron")
- That was the only instance, to date, of anyone being able to interact with Crystal Guy. It is unknown if Crystal Guy survived the damage to the alien starship.
He was seen again by an Unknown Protagonist, again in a walled off maze screen by a landed spacecraft. (Demo Game Series: "Demo Game 4)
- This game was published after Balzak Globotron but its placement in the Timeline is unclear. Therefore it may not be evidence that he survived.
