Future Lab, or FutureLabs, is a laboratory facility & organization on Szan'Xi. They worked with Ginkus, providing scientists to help with his endeavors. ("Balzak Globotron")

One thousand years ago, Future Lab discovered a new type of metallic sphere on an alien world. They discovered that they were able to use certain types of energy to connect the spheres to one another. As they researched the project, they were joined by Ginkus, the king of the powerful Zorelta nation on Shri. He used his staff’s power to assist them- Resulting in the creation of a small race of creatures known as Sphere Children, and one in particular: Balzak Globotron. Future Lab, meanwhile, traded some of this Sphere technology to Ginkus’ enemies, the Crodin, resulting in the fall of the Zorelta. ("Balzak Globotron")

- These events were originally attributed to The Company in early drafts of Balzak Globotron, which had Future Lab as a company facility. This has been revised, however, such that Future Lab is independent and only works with the Company as a fellow member of The Alliance.
