Ganakos is a mysterious figure from the distant past on Shri, a key participant in the cooperative effort to create the Zor'L'Ti Cooperation Citadel. He left a series of metallic spheres, containing holographic journal entries, detailing his role in the creation of the Zigori and in the surrounding events.
History[]
Many years before the rise of the Zorelta, much of Shri was divided into a series of warring and competing city-states. However, when this world was attacked by giant alien monsters identifying themselves as The Great, many such states were motivated to cooperate. Ganakos was one of the main proponents of this unifying effort, especially after his young daughter Zigori was killed in an early attack.
He was among the minds responsible for the creation of the Zigori, a race of miniature people who, he hoped, could infiltrate the Great's ships and return some usable information. However, support of this project earned him some derision from some, who accused him of "pretty words" and playing with his little pets, the Zigori.
Ganakos kept a secret citadel in the North, with a secret train that lead to it. When civil war broke out between the humans and the Zigori, the cooperation disbanded, and Ganakos retreated to his citadel. (Squids in Forests: "Fried Calamari")
Mny years later, Ginkus had a picture of Zigori in his office on Szan'Xi, implying a connection between him and Ganakos. (“Balzak Globotron”)
Identity[]
Given Ganakos' significance, it is unlikely he would have disappeared entirely following his failure with the Zigori, leading some to speculate that he might have later resurfaced in a different form.
