Story

An outcast troll leaves his village after failing to live up to the standards of troll society. He chances across a magical staff and its owner, who states that the wielder of the staff controls almost unlimited power. The troll uses it to create a weapon to defeat the other trolls, who have continuously made him feel worthless. This weapon is a new species: the gnomes.
