Gron-Fresnell (pronounced with a silent S) was the name of an ancient lunar entity, and a moon of Mars. He cared about lower life forms and always tried to save them.
Nature[]
Gron-Fresnell is essentially a sentient, living moon. The top layer of rock is just dead, but beneath that, it's alive. If chunks of this lower material are broken off, they'll become independently sentient. If chunks of this lower material are broken off, they can become independent, intelligent beings.
Gron-Fresnell's core is made up of an ancient gem which is the embodiment of the Multiverse.
He has "Moonbeam Telekinesis", a beam with which he can move objects nearby. He only has enough strength to move one or two ships at a time, though. ("Xaq's Roundabout Stream")
He also produces Gron Oil, a biproduct which can be used as fuel for starships. This substance is mined by Hellots. ("Expedition0708")
History[]
Early Sightings[]
Garpuloid 7 passed what appeared to be Gron-Fresnell during his trip to Earth. ("Ghosts 2")
Concerned over Mars[]
Gron-Fresnell has been seen multiple times in the skies over Mars, over the course of different adventures. In those sightings, he seemed concerned about something. (''PCG MadLibs", "Chris' Roundabout Stream")
It turned out that he was concerned because he saw two ships fighting in space near him - an unknown alien ship chasing the Big Boom ship. Since he cared so much about life, Gron-Fresnell tried to stop them from destroying each other. He eventually was able to disable one ship by removing its engines, and push the other away with his moonbeam telekinesis. He hid the disabled ship in his mouth to protect it from the other. (Xaq's Roundabout Stream: "First Game")
Inside his mouth, the occupant of the disabled ship broke off a piece of Gron-Fresnell which became the sentient asteroid, Roclus. (Xaq's Roundabout Stream: "Final Game")
Around the same time, he helped Zoovac, dressed as Bob Ross, to finish his painting, while also saving someone nearby. (Xaq's Roundabout Stream: "First Game")
At some point he appeared in Orbit 907 by Eldritch Theater.
Shrunken & Captured[]
At some point, he was kidnapped and shrunken by members of Factor X, and held captive at one of their facilities. There, he met Steve, a human man who rescued him. Together, they escaped aboard a craft called The Raven (Steve Series: "The Legend of Gron-Fresnell"). However, they are captured again and Steve is blasted off into space and Gron-Fresnell is captured by Roclus and Factor X. Factor X creates sphere-men out of chunks of Gron-Fresnell.
Escape[]
Part of Gron-Fresnell's escape is recorded in Xaq's Roundabout Stream: "Second Game" in which a shrunken Gron-Fresnell fights off two sphere-men.
Dating[]
At some point, Gron-Fresnell was contacted by Xaq, who was trapped in a cell on the Moon by The Shadow. Xaq asked for help, but Gron was unmotivated, only wanting to find a date. Xaq also contacted Bride of Perfecto and set up a date between them. They met in orbit of Luna, and went on a date; however it didn't work out as a romance. Nonetheless, they rescued Xaq from the cell, who was then sucked up onto the surface of Gron-Fresnell. ("PCG Anniversary Special II" by Chris)
Future[]
About a thousand years in the future, a Cloudian called for help from Gron-Fresnell when he was trapped on a colony world of the inhabitants of PSO J318.5-22. Uncharacteristically for him, Gron-Fresnell attacked and destroyed most of that planet, with its inhabitants on it. ("Clouded Hopes 2")
