"Hey guys, Isaac here!" - Isaac Cruz
Isaac Cruz, also known as IPGS, or IPGSGAMESYSTEM, was the first known creator of Paper Games and the founder of the PGC. Isaac also had a long running homemade Pokemon TCG and he created a YouTube channel called IPGS which was active for around three years.
As of June 27, 2014 Isaac announced in a YouTube video titled, "goodbye" that he would not be returning to the PGC after a 5 month long hiatus from making videos. Sometime in 2020, he removed his goodbye video from his public channel and all video comments were disabled.
History[]
In the Summer of 2011 Isaac Cruz created the IPGS YouTube channel with the goal of showcasing his homemade trading card game that later grew to have over 800 cards as well as his titular paper game console, Isaac's Paper Game System. He quickly amassed an audience that later became the PGC, and cemented himself as a talented creator.
Isaac eventually began to focus his channel more and more on paper games, and wouldn't upload TCG videos as often. He also started featuring his brother Jonathan and his sister Vanessa in some of his videos. As a community grew around Isaac's paper games and homemade trading cards, he began to lose his passion for the craft and uploads became more infrequent. Isaac addressed this issue in later videos on his channel, but continued to assure his audience that he was not losing interest and was only experiencing a short dry spell despite his later statements contradicting this.
After losing interest in paper gaming entirely due to his increasing maturity, Isaac created a gaming channel called IsaacGaming. Issac posted three videos on this channel, each one discussing a different video game, before eventually losing his known internet presence entirely. The last video posted on this channel was in August 2014, around one month after his goodbye video. Since then, Isaac was last seen active in 2016 when he responded with ":)" to a comment on his gaming channel inquiring about a return to YouTube.
