Johnson is a poor eight-armed guy who lost the use of all his arms due to a debilitating disease. Thankfully, he’s able to be an efficient engineer thanks to skill in acrobatics and the ability to peck buttons with his nose at an incredible rate. He's a crewmember on the legendary starship Taburnackle, serving as the ship's engineer.

Johnson apparently came from the same planet that Alton is from, and the two were good friends. However, after Alton got trapped on a space station and remained there for at least a year, Johnson began to have a romantic relationship with Alton’s wife.
It is unclear how far this relationship proceeded, but Alton’s wife informed Alton of it via subspace communication. Either way, Johnson later left the planet to become the engineer aboard the starship that Balzak Globotron would later come to command. It is unclear whether his relationship with Alton’s wife continued long-distance or not. It can be speculated that he left the planet specifically to avoid such a relationship out of loyalty to Alton.
Aboard the ship, he was a good engineer. He always had the engines running in top shape. When Zoovac 2.0 hijacked the crew, he managed to make it all the way from engineering to the bridge through ventilation shafts before collapsing under the nitrogen dioxide with which Zoovac was filling the ship.
Balzak later saved the day, and Johnson continues to serve aboard the ship.
