Legions of Power was a planned Series 2 PCG by BronzeCo. It would have been a direct sequel to Ginkus' Gift, but would have expanded that game's combat system for much larger battles agains the Army of Darkness. It would have been the second game to take place in the alternate universe of Græzël. For various reasons, the game never came to fruition.

In 2022, Chris announced he was hoping to eventually finish the game. And in PCG Anniversary Special Part II, Xaq had to restore the events of Legions of Power to the timeline -- potentially a setup for the game to be finally released.

Additionally, the PCG TCG The Legions of Power TCG by Magic Paper Productions is named after the game, although it's unclear if there's any in-game connection beyond the name.

Continuity[]

At the end of Ginkus' Gift, Xaq sees a huge army headed for the village. This is presumably the Dark Army. Xaq was flying towards the army with Ginkus' staff in hand; this originally would have led directly into Legions of Power.

However, instead, the next game was The Nazi Machine, which picked up where Ginkus' Gift left off; but Xaq was suddenly teleported out of Graezel for unknown reasons and found himself back in 1940s America, leading to a totally different adventure.

According to PCG Anniversary Special II, the events of Legions of Power had occurred, but were subsequently erased from the timeline. Instead of Xaq defeating the Dark Army, as would have happened in the game, the Dark Army triumphed and took over the land, leading to years of subjugation for the people of Græzël. Xaq must restore those events to history.
