Moe is a Forest Elf from the planet Thraxin. He is a particularly mischievous imp who steals from anyone who isn't watching their belongings closely. His life changed when he first encountered a human named Steve, who had crash-landed in Sylvania near where he was patrolling. He captured Steve and brought him to Elvin Haven.
After Steve and his new friend Finn defected from the Elvin 117th in a brutal battle, Moe decided to follow them, occasionally stealing items from their inventory. For the majority of Steve and Finn's time on Thraxin, Moe followed them. ("Alien Trek" - "The Odyssey Continues")
