Moon Halo is an up and coming PCG following the story of a young girl who escapes to a mysterious land through a portal in an attempt to escape dark forces. She won't be safe for long though, as she is followed and must make her way home.
(As this game is currently in the works, this wiki page will be updated as new ideas are created or scrapped. Scrapped ideas won't be removed from the wiki page but will most likely be moved to a section of it's own for such ideas.)
Story[]
To avoid major spoilers I will separate this into two sections. One for a more vague outline of the storyline and one that goes as in-depth as possible. I recommend that (until the game comes out) you don't read the in-depth section.
A Vague Outline[]
You (as the main character) are chased out of realm after realm trying to escape a mysterious unnamed evil that appears as smoke and engulfs everything in it's path. Finally, You land in a world that welcomes them in. The darkness follows them undetected though.
This is effectively where you start the game.
You traverse many lands in this vast world, possibly befriending the people around you depending on your interactions with them. You must solve all sorts of puzzles and discover the secrets to defeating the darkness so you can eventually go home.
Once you do defeat the darkness you'll finally be able to go home.

Direk (The Darkness)[]
Direk's Current Design
Despite appearing in almost the entirety of the game as a cloud of smoke, he is actually a character. Not much is known about him besides the fact that he destroys worlds. He is actually a small imp who practiced dark spells and gained a taste for destruction but never learned how to defend himself. As a result he uses a plume of smoke to make himself appear many times larger than he actually is.
Luna (The Main Character)[]
The character that you play as. A young girl who has the ability to create portals at the moons fullest along with the power to create force fields that vary in strength depending on the moon phases. She was originally from a world much like those of fictional novels (Lord Of The Rings for example). Direk began chasing her down after she interfered with him destroying her world using the power of her force fields, though she herself doesn't realize that's the reason.
