Multiverse

The Multiverse is the set of universes across which the Paper Computer Game franchise takes place. Some of these alternate universes are very similar to the PCG Universe, while others are markedly different.

For example, the realm visited in "Ginkus' Gift" has versions of characters such as Xaq, The Fat Guy, and The Farmer. Others, such as the Netherverse, don't seem to.

Multiversal physics

In each parallel universe, every person And entity exists in one way or another, but only time-travelers can maintain knowledge of their equivalents in other worlds. All others will usually live vastly different lives, while maintaining some similar characteristic to their alternate selves. (Series 2: "The Fabric of Reality")

History

The Multiverse was created as a result of a universe-shattering event of unknown origins, which tore the Universe apart and rebuilt it. During this brief restructuring, various times and places were mixed and mashed. Once the process was complete, the Universe was restored, along with a full multiverse. Xaq experienced this restructuring, and was teleported into an Alternate universe, merged with his counterpart there, as a result of it. (Series 2: "The Fabric of Reality")

	Soluna	An ancient universe whose geography is similar to that of Earth. It has equal parts magic and technology, often used in concert. It's home to a slew of races, like the Ryth, Umbrians and Merfaer. Original home of Diz, the city that became Babel in the PCG Universe.	"Soul Symphony Prequel"
	Mercado	A marketplace universe, created by adventurers, for adventurers. A slew of useful items from across time and space can be found here.	"Mercado"
	Crab people universe	A universe inhabited by paranoid crab people, who consider the creation of conspiracy theories an art form.	"The Adventures of Lyle Cooper"
	Imaginary World of Trumbledon	A universe filled with adventures and interesting creatures, where interdimensional beings lure human workers.	PCG Roundabout 1
	Hazelnut Kingdom	A medieval fantasy universe, where Ogres and Princesses reside.	"The Ogre & The Princess"
	StupidVerse	An infinite, random universe where anything can happen.	"The Smiley One"

• Hyrule - A fantasy world threatened defined by the power of an artifact called the Triforce, left behind by three goddesses. The hero named Link protects the land from Ganon, who seeks the Triforce's power.
• Pokémon Universe - a world where humans live alongside Pokémon.
• Star Trek Universe - A futuristic world in which Earth has joined many other alien races to form a Federation, whose goal is to peacefully explore.
• Star Wars Universe - A futuristic galaxy which is bound by a mystical energy called "The Force", which is used in different ways by the noble Jedi and the evil Sith.
