Ned Norwegian was a man living in the 1800s. He was arrested by a small-town sheriff for unspecified crimes and locked up. After trying conversation with the sheriff, he decided to escape and thus managed to burn down the sheriff’s office. He escaped, and his fate is unknown. During the conversation with the Sheriff, however, Xaq temporarily gained control of his consciousness due to the shattered spacetime, and helped him escape before departing. (Series 2: "The Fabric of Reality")
- Ned Norwegian's name was improved after his actual last name was forgotten during gameplay, and it stuck. Also, Ned was originally slated to be the star of his own PCG, the first of the western genre. However, that game was cancelled, and its only screen was incorporated into The Fabric of Reality, as part of Xaq's adventure through space and time.
