Pallet Town was a location in the Pokémon Universe. It was home to Ash Ketchum[1] and Kidd Funkadelic Jr. When the latter set out to become a Pokémon trainer, he noticed that there was an Ape-Ball there. That caused him to wake up. ("The Adventures of Kidd Funkadelic, Jr.")
It was very similar to Mallet Town, the home of Gash Ketchum. ("Pokémon Stop")
