This section of the Wiki is all about paper games - video games created entirely out of paper! They are usually played on paper game consoles with paper controllers, and unlike traditional PCGs, paper games usually are one player, have strict sets of rules, and have designated actions that the player can take.
Feel free to create pages on your games and game consoles! If you are new to the paper game community (PGC), then there's nothing to stop you from joining - all you have to do is create a game!
History of the Paper Game Community Wiki[]
The PGC Wiki was originally hosted on its own Fandom site and was created by TodayWithTheCJB, also known as Gameaseengine, in September 2013. The wiki slowly grew to include much of the information about the paper game community that was available at the time, but efforts to expand the wiki slowed dramatically around 2016 and the wiki's pages were running rampant with internet trolls.
During this period, the Paper Computer Games YouTube channel was created by one of the semifrequent editors of the PGC wiki, Xaq. The channel attracted the few remaining members of the PGC and eventually became a hub of sorts for all kinds of paper gaming content. In 2021, the PCG community held a vote as to whether they wanted to merge the two wikis. The vote ended in favor of the merge and after consulting the author of the PGC wiki, the wikis were combined into the one super-wiki that exists today.
This page was originally the main page of the Paper Game Community Wiki. Since the merger, it's become the portal for all things Paper Game on this wiki! Our editors have been working hard to catch everything from the PGC Wiki up to date, and remove any inappropriate content that remains from the trolling attempts.
