Rufter Von Bloodcurse was an insane, evil man and a wizard or magic-user of some kind. It is unknown what evil acts he performed or what his origins were, but is now known that he has transformed himself into a menacing, towering skyscraper in the dream world. The reasons for this are unknown.
Little is known about Rufter's origens, or what made him so evil. However, it is known that he was originally a Human, and a skilled user of dark magics and a very sadistic man. Using his dark magics, he transformed himself into a building voulintarily-- becoming a darker and more terrifying creature (edifice?) than anyone could have imagined.
When the Dreamer encountered him in a dream, Rufter was only too eager to eat the new morsel-- only to discover that the Dreamer wasn't such a pushover and proved to be a real thorn in his side. Since then, Rufter has declared the Dreamer his archnemesis. (Miscellaneous Game : City of Dreams)
