Squid Town is a 2023 PCG by Epic Worlds PCG. This game is related to Xaq's squid series.
Story[]
After Xaq's friend Ari goes missing for several months, Xaq heads to the planet Shri to search for him. He comes across a small town of squid people. As Xaq talks to the Squid People, he learns of their struggles with a strange beast that comes down from the mountains and feeds on them. The Squid People's population is slowly dwindling, and the once massive population is limited to just a few left.
Xaq heads down to the nearby sewers only to find a Squid Person making a weapon deal with The Company to destroy the beast in the mountains. Xaq wonders why The Crodin had not hunted down the squid people too, but it is because they too are afraid of the beast. Xaq finally builds up the courage to advance up the mountain where he finds the beast. The thing is, the beast was not who Xaq expected it to be. Xaq finds out that the beast is Ari!! The Company had given Ari a serum to make him go crazy so he would hunt down the Squid People. The Company did this so that the squid people would want to buy expensive weapons to kill the beast, thus profiting from creating this conflict. Xaq ends up saving Ari and the following events are yet to be uncovered.
