Star Wars- Frigate Defense

The map made by Flamespot in the original showcase video

Star Wars: Frigate Defense (also known as Star Wars: Flick Defense or Star Wars: Flick Attack), was a 2016 paper game and the first in a series of paper games released by Flamespot on his youtube channel.

The game features a unique pencil flicking mechanic, where the players must flick their pencil on a page in order to determine how far their ships can move. The goal of the game is to defeat the opposing fleet (Rebels or Galactic Empire) or to get two of your own ships into your base.

Each turn, the player can make one movement or shoot at another ship. In order to attack another ship, the same pencil flicking mechanic is used and the ship is destroyed if your line of fire crosses its flight path. There are also obstacles on the map like portals and meteors, that can have special effects when flown into. The game is not played on a set map and is more of a format for players to create their own map.
