The Arcmage is a term used for the host of R'algraxen. Any and all events of the hosts are recorded here, so I recommend reading this article instead of the individual articles on each host. Now The Arcmage has gone through quite an interesting and complex history, so stay tuned, and keep reading.

Strange Facts[]

  • There are multiple different Arcmages across the multiverse.

History[]

The Beginning[]

The Arcmage was originally known as R'algraxen, a name given to him by an unknown figure.

The Arcmage became the leader of the Archangels and tried to destroy the Archangel Ball. (Archangel: The Ball )

In the Arcmage's thirst for power, he decided to create a new civilization to follow him, and a land to rule. Before the Arcmage unraveled his plan, he approached one of his friends who could see the future. The friend saw dark times and pleaded to The Arcmage not to follow through, but The Arcmage did not listen! (The Creator (Archangel Prequel))

The Arcmage meets up with Bob The Archangel who gives him the Archangel Ball. The Arcmage throws the ball into space, and thus creating the planet of Archanglea. (Archanglea: The Creation)

The Arcmage mysteriously got outcasted to the depths of space. His wings turned into a dark cloak and he flew around space searching for a purpose.

One day The Arcmage gazed upon a star known as Mezgomorth; he managed to harness the power of this star and use it to gain dark magic. Years went by and his energy from the star started to flare out, causing his skin to turn red and his appearance to seem devilish.

R'algraxen realized that he needed a host to hide his appearance from the multiverse, thus creating the title, "The Arcmage." ("Those who have seen my face only judge the exterior, but within lies the knowledge of an immortal's mind. The world has spit in my face, and now I shall rage pain upon those who have hurt me.") R'algraxen went into a state of deep emotionless depression, and within that stage, he found a darker purpose...a purpose to kill.

Nobody quite knows who R'algraxen's first host was, but he seemed to have a deep conflict with Cal, the father of John, who would go on to be his archnemesis.

Arcmage Victorious[]

The Arcmage was seen in the PCG Arcmage Victorious by Xaq.

An enemy of The Arcmage, Cal, lied upon his deathbed, reminiscing at all of his old battles with The Arcmage. Many years ago, he appeared in the woods and attacked a young Cal and Kisha after they'd first met as kids. Many years after that, he kidnapped Kisha and took her to his tower, where he imprisoned her in a crystal. Cal defeated the Arcmage and rescued her. Many years after that he appeared on the beach to once again attack Cal and Kisha, this time trying to kidnap their son. Finally, he came to visit Cal on his deathbed, promising to take Cal's son and train him as his own apprentice, but not before showing his face and true form to the elderly man, causing a heart attack. ("Arcmage Victorious")

The Arcmage's card in Epic Underworlds TCG.

The Arcmage's Conscious led him into a strange portal...he fell into a strange realm. (The Realm where Arcmage Victorious takes place) An ancient being that looked similar to The Arcmage stated, "Now that Cal is killed, you must take his son John to the Shogon Sector where you will train him. " The Arcmage accepted and started training him. 10 years later John figures out how The Arcmage fought his father Cal, he rebels and runs away. From that point on John and The Arcamge have been fighting for vengence. John escapes The Arcmage's wrath and falls into a portal that takes him to Shri. All memories are lost along the way.(The Arcmage's Apprentice)

After John returned from Shri, The Arcmage confronted him, realizing that his old apprentice had changed and become stronger. The Arcmage fled the battle from John and instead went to a Kovian city on Gondo and blew it up, (blaming it on the Hento) thus starting the war between Kova and Hento. It is noted that The Arcmage also left a curse on Granny to eternally roam the universe forever, telling of The Arcmage's great accomplishments for as long as she exists; this also means that The Arcmage could put this spell on himself too, and so we find out that The Arcamge is also Immortal! (John On Shri)

Teddy[]

Innocent Teddy can be seen minding his own business when all of a sudden he meets R'algraxen, who offers him ultimate power, and so, Teddy accepts and becomes the new Arcmage. ( The Arcmage Awakens by Wyzo)

The Arcmage can be seen taking control of Teddy and making him do evil deeds. This shows that R'algraxen is a parasite and he can manipulate his victims. He ends up getting exiled. The Arcmage's old outfit can also be seen. (Conflicting Personalities by Wyzo)

The Arcmage goes on a mass killing spree and does many evil deeds including lasering a man to bits! At this point, he decides that he needs to change his outfit to blue. (The Arcmage's First Scheme by Wzyo)

At some point, Teddy moved to Totan and had a family with a Half Ghost. His son, Mezo Tikin had returned from the war on Totan only to find that everyone was gone. Mezo explored and confronted his father Teddy, who at the time was teamed up with Harold the evil ghost, and Mezo tried to stop Teddy from turning to this dark side, but he revealed his true colors and let R'algraxen take over. Harold ended up killing Mezo's mother, and Teddy (consumed by the Arcmage at this point) didn't even try to stop it! (Liberation of Colotan)

Mezo Tikin chases after his father and finds him raising up an army of Ghosts. Mezo stops him, but Teddy flees to the desert where he meets up with Harold The Evil Ghost. Mezo makes it to the desert and finds the two ready for Mezo. Mezo fights them but realizes he cant win, but out in the corner of his eye, he sees a portal opening. Mezo goes to the portal where he finds his mother, holding out the Blood Legion Dagger, which Mezo takes and uses to kill Harold the evil ghost. Mezo wins the battle, and his father flees the scene, defeated. Teddy/The Arcmage, seemingly disappears for a while. (Search for the dagger)

The Arcamge brings back Harold by using some dark and powerful magic. (Harold Origins Comic)

World of Jack[]

At some point, the Arcmage appeared in Jack's universe. He didn't attack the guy who was trapped in that pumpkin-shaped world but had plans for him. When the world started to burn down, The Arcmage teleported himself out and escaped. The guy jumped onto his back and escaped as well. ("World of Jack")

Arcmage... Defeated?[]

In Team Apex 1, the Arcmage was the central antagonist. He successfully managed to open a set of tens of thousands of portals spanning the entire PCG universe, allowing him to be in many places at once. His first target was Earth, where Ginkus was tasked to assassinate Pumpkin Bill who was lurking in the Eeeevil Base, but that never happened, as The Arcmage showed up in the form of Agent Teddy, he revealed himself after their combat to be R'algraxen but Ginkus wasn't taking it. Ginkus, now enraged, called the Arcmage by his true name, R'algraxen, as he cast a spell that revealed the Arcmage's true demonic form, unmasking him once and for all. Zoovac and Matak appeared and joined Ginkus' side. They had a quick battle, and the Arcmage was supposedly banished. (Team Apex 1 by Wyzo)

We later learn that R'algraxen was banished to a realm to protect some orbs[1].

After the banishment of R'algraxen from Team Apex 1, his grandfather As'Goth decided to take over. As'Goth traveled into a cave and quickly got past some guards by using his super strength. He then used his parasite latch ability to take over one of the guards, allowing him to save his great-grandson Bolmanok from being held captive in a small cage.

As'Goth gets teleported into a small town where he meets an alternate version of Xaq named Zachary. As'Goth finds a random person in the town and decides to use his parasite ability to turn into him so he can blend into the town better. At the top of the town is Teddy! After finally being free of the parasite R'algraxen, he can finally adjust to society again. Everything is going swell until part of The Arcmage's power that is still left in Teddy consumes him. As'Goth convinces him to fight it off and Teddy survives. The game is over and As'Goth is a hero. (All New Arcmage)

Team Apex gets sucked into a void and awakens in a strange realm where they see R'algraxen who has changed for the better and has been protecting some powerful orbs. R'algraxen states that he can no longer control himself, and says that the orbs must be passed on to Team Apex. The team goes through a series of trials, one of which is where they help Teddy with his depression, but finally, the members of the team each get one of the 5 orbs to protect, and they all go back to their planets, disbanding Team Apex for now. It is unknown if these orbs are actually bombs or evil devices, or if they are actually just some powerful orbs. R'algraxen leaves the realm, and returns to the PCG Universe. (Team Apex 4, Team Apex 5, Team Apex 6)

He puts on the suit, and immediately R'algraxen is summoned. Turns out, he missed being evil too, and so the duo starts off their new rampage by destroying the retirement home, but what they did not expect is that the local police on Earth would be ready. The New Arcmage

R'algraxen latches onto Bernard, but he realizes that Bernard is a strong almost god-like human! Bernard takes control of the parasite, changing his outfit and mission.
