The Farmer was a temporally displaced heroic farmer. While he's best at farming, he's also been known to help Xaq on a number of his missions.

Medieval times[]
In medieval Europe, an innocent farmer became caught up in the affairs of ‘The Company’, which seems to have been in operation back then. Xaq encountered the Farmer while traveling through time. He brought the Farmer with him to the present time. ("Farmer's Tale")
Present day[]
Since then, the Farmer has continued to help Xaq, as well as Zoovac, on some of their missions. (Series 1)

When the Universe restructured itself, he was teleported to an alternate reality where he had his own farm. Xaq, having also been transported to that alternate world, met up with him once again. He was happy to see Xaq, but said he was thinking he might stay in the new world, as it feels like home to him. (Series 2: "Ginkus' Gift")

He stayed there for years, and everything went well. He maintained his farm, built a barn so he didn't have to keep living on a tent on his farm.
But then one day, he noticed there was nothing to tie his clothesline to. This had been a tree, but then he seemed to have forgotten it was there. In its place, was a giant green thorny vine growing from the ground. He didn't notice anything weird about this, however. When Xaq showed up, having fallen through a portal, he helped the Farmer pick his lettuce crop for the Farmer's Market the next day. ("PCG Anniversary Special Part II")
