Explanation[]
The Gumbo Project is the largest PCG project that KingFroggy1st has worked on. The project is a large retcon of every single one of KingFroggy1st's games. Over time he will remake other Gumbo games by other creators into one game. An example would be taking every single game from The Rupture arc and making it Gumbo 5. The project is greatly ambitious and will be KingFroggy1st's best PCG's ever.
Story[]
Gumbo 1: The First Chapter[]
There is a short flashback to when Carrot Head first kidnapped Space Dog we then jump forward in time. Gumbo wakes up locked in a cage and quickly escapes He kills Flower Guy and chases down Carrot Head into a house. In this house, he sees a quick flash outside the window of someone shooting something.
Gumbo meets Gabawl and befriends him but it seems Gabawl isn't letting on everything he knows. They descend into the sewer after Carrot Head and meet Habble. Jr who is selling Chomper Arms. They recruit Habble. Jr buys a Chomper Arm and makes there way past Jimmy a large carrot monster. There are many gunshot holes in the roof of the sewer. Leaving the sewers the squad scales the mountain.
When they get to the top Gumbo comes face to face with Carrot Head who keeps him back with dark magic. Taunting him with Space Dog, Carrot head will call Gumbo child before escaping to his ship. Gabawl throws Gumbo and Habble. Jr onto the bottom of the ship before its out of reach. After this, a sphere child's hand is seen holding a gun behind Gabawl. This prompts Gabawl to say so you're back for me.
We then cut back to Gumbo angered and clinging to Carrot Head's ship before we see Carrot Head smiling but a hidden half of his face seems to be crying.
Gumbo 2: The Torpedo To Gondo[]
Gumbo is compelled to get Space Dog back at any cost! He latches onto Carrot Head's ship and sneaks in. He first fights a large dragon before continuing towards the contol room. On the way he befriends a small alien named Tiblius Tublius. All is going to plan until the ship lurches forward and sirens erupt from the cockpit. The ship is going down and there is nothing to stop it!
Gumbo wakes up at the sight of the crash and realizes everyone is gone! Habble Jrs arm also lays on the ground, he has died... Standing before Gumbo is Henax, an Hento soldier who is standing in his way. Gumbo kills Henax before continuing.
The game cuts to Carrot head entering a building where he throws a tied up spacedog onto the floor. He begins talking to a voice in his head before walking up to a Arcmage outfit.
Gumbo 3: Project G[]
Gumbo realizes that Henax is still alive but badly injured. Henax reveals he is against the Hento and has been trying to take them down from the inside out. He also tells Gumbo the reason he attacked him is because he thought he worked for Carrot Head. So Gumbo explores the wreckage of Carrot Head's ship for medical supplies. Gumbo fights a series of dark mutants before finding medical supplies. In the process Tiblius Tublius is killed by one of the creatures. Gumbo has to fight off the leader of mutants. He then saves Henax who becomes forever indebted to him. The two continue on their path and meet Dave who gives them some supplies.
Gumbo realizes that there is some sort of pattern with the creatures he fights. Most of them resemble carrots, and most of them are mutated, so he tries to save one and realizes that it is being mutated and tested on against its will to be evil. Gumbo realizes that this is the dark work of something more powerful than Carrot Head. Gumbo then stumbles upon a crate where he finds Space Pig. Deeper in the forest is Soovac who Gumbo powers on. Soovac agrees to help Gumbo, but first, he needs a Robo Dolly. Gumbo finds the Robo Dolly in an abandoned house which has another Carrot Mutant in it which Gumbo saves. The beings only name that he knows is called The Hive!
Gumbo finds Gabawl, but realizes something is off. Gabawl tries to turn Henax against Gumbo, but Gumbo realizes that this is a fake Gabawl, but gets captured anyway. Gumbo wakes up and sees The Arcmage standing above him. He has lost all of his items and friends and is now all alone. The being tells Gumbo that Gumbo is his child and that he was his best experiment until he went rogue. The Arcmage needs Gumbo because he wants to harness Gumbo's Save Game DNA. The Arcmage seems to want infinite power but it also seems that he might want a family and to feel accepted. As his evilness has made people hate him. Gumbo begins to get agressive and a large shadowy creature comes up from the ground. It is known as the Rupture and is seemingly more powerful then the Arcmage. The Arcmage then gets a Rupture scientist (The Rupture being a creature and organization) to take Gumbo away.
Jeff and the real Gabawl arrive and save Gumbo. The group travels to a cellblock and saves The Guy who had been captured and tourtured by The Arcmage. The group then finds The Gondo Wizard, Sussy Lamborgeeenii and Barenk (Tryptozian). Gumbo finds out that The Gondo Wizard has a trading system with the Arcmage many years ago and forces him to leave before he kills him. On the way out Gumbo meets another mutant which he frees from the Ruptures hold. This creature also calls himself The Hive. Gumbo then befriends a strange creature named Dibby which keeps saying his brother is Bibby. The groups part ways and agree to meet on Gondo.
As Gumbos crew blasts off they are chased by a fleet of ships. The largest of ships shoots a laser beam to catch Gumbos ship. But Gumbo drops Dibby out of the window who absorbes the beam and blows up the ship. Gumbo, Gabawl, The Hive and Dibby stop at Arx's Trading Post where they trade for a strange crystal. Behind the group appears Tiblius Tublius, and Habble Jr! Habble Jr lived and turned them both into cyborgs. With them is a creature from ico named Spongey who wants to help in there cause against the Arcmage.
