The Shadow Realm was an alternate reality, one which was somehow a dark reflection of Earth. It was the universe that The Shadow originated from, and which he's reshaped to fit his will. It's the current seat of power of The Company.
History[]
At some point, an alternate version of Xaq was born in the Shadow Realm. He was the opposite of Xaq in every way: where our Xaq was a hero, this Xaq was evil and schemed world domination. He would eventually use his incredible powers to reshape the Shadow Realm to his whims. he would become known as Slurm and, later, as The Shadow. ("PCG Anniversary Special II" by Chris)
At some point, The Shadow founded The Company in the Shadow Realm. This was originally separate from the Company on Earth, though the two would later merge. ("PCG Anniversary Special II" by Chris)
Xaq found his way into the Shadow Realm through the portal in Dominique's hat. After encountering The Wizard Sluiceface there, he was turned into a snail, and painstakingly journeyed across the realm, before turning himself back into a human with a magic potion.
