The Zigori Empire is a 2022 PCG created by Epic Worlds PCG.

Story and Situation[]

A Crodin officer named Karvin Krat was tasked by the Crodin to explore the forests of Shri in search of Zigori to terminate. He was supplied with three Mechs to accompany him. (654, 01, B-27)

Karvin decides to explore a nearby fountain that has strange size-altering properties. He also finds a Shri Sheep which he proceeds to eat, changing his vision to yellow. Karvin finds a nearby Zigori village and gets attacked by the vicious tribe. He takes refuge in a crashed Crodin ship where he finds the remains of his father, Kendlock Krat. The Zigori break into the ship, and Karvin is left to crawl into a nearby tunnel. Karvin finds out that the tunnel is the entrance to an old Crodin prison named Ginkon Prison. He meets Zunto there and saves him.

Upon exiting the prison, Karvin finds that all the Zigori and their Construct are gone. He and Zunto proceed to stomp on the poor Zigori village and then meet up with Monodale The Merchant who gives them safe passage to the Crodin Empire. (It is noted that Monodale was given the coordinates of the prison so he could gain a reward from the Crodin for finding it). Before the crew could return to the Crodin Empire, they were attacked by a Construct which Zunto and Karvin quickly took down. John appeared on the hull of the ship, but he later escaped.

Upon return to the Crodin Empire, Zunto decided to take full credit for killing the Construct and destroying the Zigori village, the Crodin didn't know who to trust, so they took the two to a lie detection room...

The Game[]

The game is semi-linear but has some open-world aspects to it. Xaq told Epic he wanted to play it, and Epic, having forgotten the script, quickly scraped up a new story, and added a few more screens to spice the game up.

Gameplay[]

Although this was one of Epic's older games, it was still a joy to play, and nonetheless added lots of good lore. Epic & Xaq played this game on stream.
