Xaq's Second Series is the informal title of a series of PCGs which was later mostly disbanded in favor of individual series.
The series began when Xaq started making new PCGs, following the then-recent release of Series 2. The original intention was to make a series of adventures starring Pierre, establishing a status quo but occasionally departing from it for more exotic adventures with different characters like Ginkus or Charles. But the series would always return to its core adventures.
Early games followed this pattern, but over time the exotic games departing from the main story became prevalent enough to constitute their own series, ultimately being re-classified as such. It became more difficult to keep track of the numbering of the series, and ultimately it was abandoned in favor of the individual series' numbering.
The Games[]
The games' original numbering was reclassified, because some games, which were worthy of being full installments, were originally numbered as "2.5, 4.5", etc. In cases where a game's been re-numbered, its original number is shown here on the right.
Fried Calamari's classification as PCG #24 was based on the creator's retroactively numbering a number of games prior to it. As such, it's unclear which games these were.
Games after this had largely given up on the "Xaq's Second Series" numbering, and instead all new games are now numbered as their new series. As such, they are not included here.
